TACO, Trump Always Chickens Out! We can only hope and pray that the one person elected by the American populace will back down and not follow through on his threat to not only send Iran back to the stone age, but now to destroy one of the first significant civilizations in history. World War Two ended with the slaughter of the people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945 with nuclear weapons, WMDs, (Weapons of Mass Destruction). Some talking heads are saying we are already in WW3, but the vast majority of us will be convinced once nuclear weapons are used by one side against another. There are presently nine nuclear armed countries and since the United States used them to end WW2 no country has dared to use them in a military conflict. The Cuban Missile Crisis of October, 1962, with the US and USSR standoff has been as close as we have come to this apocalyptic event occurring. The sequence of acquiring nukes is as follows: USA – 1945, USSR – 1949, UK – 1952, France – 1960, China – 1964, India – 1974, Pakistan – 1998, North Korea – 2006, and Israel, never confirmed, but around 1967. We all know of extreme social, religious, political, and economic malicious statements between these countries, but none have ever used an atomic weapon. So why, if Iran had one, would that push the world towards armageddon? There is absolutely no indication that the 10th country to have a nuke would change the script. Once again, let us all hope and pray that saner members of the US Military establishment will realize the dire consequences if this isn’t another TACO bluff and the Commander in Chief is serious about his threat. The escalation ladder ends with nukes and that’s where we are headed!
